Tree nursery G. Vermeer Holland B.V., an exporting company in trees suitable for planting along avenues, in parks and other places can truly be called a family business. Not only because it has been passed on from father to son but especially due to the fact that currently five family members are working in the company. They work alongside five other permanent employees.
At first, most of our business was limited to the Netherlands. We supplied mostly to wholesale companies. Over the last twenty years we have focused on exporting our products. We frequently deliver our products to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, England and France. We have also found a market in the Scandinavian countries.
We yearly plant 40.000 rootstocks on an area of about sixty-five square hectares. We sell these two times transplanted trees in sizes from 6/8 to 12/14 cm girth. We also sell about 30.000 young trees. These have been transplanted three times and have reached sizes of 12/14 to 25/30 cm girth.
In order to safeguard quality as well as continuity it is important for us to take care of the selling as well as the transportation of our products. If desired it is possible for the customer to pick up his own order. It is then also possible to get an impression of our company. We are pleased to provide you with information about the cultivation in containers, our range of products as well as our specialties.
